Iceberg

A small ribbed vessel that carries the tremor of its own printing — each vertical rib holds a faint vibration, no two prints ever quite alike. We kept it instead of sanding it away: a signature, not a flaw. Holds pens upright, and lets warm light filter through the ribs if you set a small light inside. El Baile

A sculptural brochure holder: two halves of a torso opening as if mid-dance, a rose-pink glow visible in the slit between them. In Venice I crossed paths with AIND, a movement already alive on its own, and from that encounter the collection set off on its journey — city to city, across Europe and the US.

About

Architect by training (Parma), designer for luxury brands between Spain and Italy. In 2020, in Madrid, Olasurrealista was born: 3D-printed sculptures where the rigor of classical form meets the irrational nature of the unconscious.

A symbol runs through every piece and lives on in the project's logo: the arch — two fragilities that, leaning on one another, become solid.

From the lake to Seattle: a young designer exhibits at CoCA

A small apple of light, just a few centimeters of 3D-printed filament, has entered the archive of the Center on Contemporary Art in Seattle — the same space that once hosted artist James Turrell. It was donated by Alessio Bettoni, 38, a designer originally from Tavernola Bergamasca.

The exhibition, staged with the Aind collective, brought together some eighty artists and musicians, both local and international — another step in a journey that has already passed through Venice, Milan, Rome, Paris and Amsterdam.
